1. Applicable Drums
✅ Ordinary steel drums
✅ Steel drums with top iron rim ✅ Standard blue plastic drums (without outer hoop)
❌ Not suitable: Blue plastic drums fitted with external iron hoop
Structure: Double-chain double jaw design, equipped with main lifting link for overhead crane lifting.
2. 3-Jaw Drum Lifting Clamp
Rated Load: 750 kg
·Opening range: 350–360 mm
·Lifting eye diameter: 40 mm
Standard supply: Chain NOT included (lifting chain needs separate purchase)
Applicable Drums Compatible with common 200L steel drums, steel drums with rim and regular blue plastic drums. Structure: 3-point gripping structure for balanced force distribution and stable clamping.
Safety Instructions & Maintenance(Important Notices)
1. The drum lifting clamp is used to lift various drums, including open-top steel drums and different types of metal transfer bins.
2. If the spring fails, manual operation can still reset the clamp.
3. The clamp can be used to lift drums partially filled with materials.
4. Lifting drums without flange rim is dangerous, as the jaw may slip off. Reinforcement via welding or bolts is mandatory for rimless drums.
5. Overload lifting is strictly prohibited.
Maintenance Guidelines
1. Lubricate all moving parts with light-duty lubricant every 10–15 days.
2. Keep the clamp clean. Remove dirt and contaminants regularly to extend service life.
3. Frequently inspect springs and hinge pins. Stop use immediately if abnormal movement or damage is found.
Operating Procedure
The diagram demonstrates standard operating methods: lock the jaws firmly onto the top flange of the drum for vertical lifting or angled transportation.
Selection Guidance
✅ 2-Jaw Wide Body (1 Ton) Advantages: Pre-assembled G80 chain; compatible with steel & standard plastic drums; higher working load. Limitation: Cannot be used for plastic drums with outer iron hoop.
✅ 3-Jaw Type (750 kg) Advantages: Three-point secure grip, wider drum compatibility. Limitation: Lower rated capacity; chain is not included as standard.
